La Maison Noir: The Gift and the Curse is centered around the symbol of the Cosmogram, a spiritual icon from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Yannick’s ancestral home. This symbol represents the circle of life in four stages: Birth, Life, Death, and Rebirth. Each chapter of the visual album seeks to represent a stage whilst simultaneously representing the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. In this clip, we will explain what these symbols mean.
