Poroshenko to meet Putin: Two leaders to discuss East Ukraine conflict in Milan

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has confirmed that he will meet Russain President Vladimir Putin next week on the sidelines of an Asia-Europe Meeting summit in Milan. This comes amid reports in the Russian media that the Kremlin has ordered troops on the Ukrainian border to withdraw, raising hopes that Moscow is seeking an end to the months old conflict in East Ukraine between Ukrainian government forces and Kremlin-backed insurgents.
