Far-Right Leader Seselj Returns to Serbia: Released war criminal vows to topple government
An ailing Serbian nationalist, released before a verdict in his long-running war crimes trial in The Hague, has returned home and vowed to topple former friends and "traitors" who took power in the Balkan nation and want closer ties with the West.
The 60-year-old far-right leader and war crimes defendant had been given rapturous reception by his supporters as he promised to ‘topple Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic’. He also proceeded to denounce The Hague tribunal as a ‘wounded globalist beast’ out to destroy the Serb nation.
