New Zealand minister gets hit in the face by flying sex toy

Sex toys throwing is not a good look for New Zealand, according to the country’s Prime Minister John Key. That comes after Economy Minister Steven Joyce was hit in the face by a plastic replica of male genitalia during a media conference.

He later said he saw the funny side in the incident.

New Zealand Economic Minister, Steven Joyce:

"Ah look it's fine. I mean, I was a little bit surprised but we actually thought it was a little bit humorous at the end of it all."

Joyce was discussing the benefits of Trans-Pacific Partnership when protester Josie Butler threw the toy and shouted "that's for raping our sovereignty". She was taken away by police and later released.
