In preparation for the most contentious debate yet Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are firing up support days before the crucial US presidential primary in New Hampshire. Thousands of supporters flocked to a downtown stadium where both candidates delivered back-to-back speeches.

Inside, most Sanders supporters chose seats on the opposite side of the stadium from seats filled with Clinton supporters.

Steve Shurtleff, New Hampshire House Democratic Leader, an undecided voter:
"New Hampshire voters, both Democrats and Republicans, are very independent. And they will change their minds, they will listen to the issues, listen to the candidates, and they may say something that resonates with them and that would be enough to have them change their mind and go in a different direction. We saw that in 2008 with President Obama up in the New Hampshire polls and then Secretary Clinton came from behind and actually won that night, so you never really know. New Hampshire likes to be a spoiler."

The winners of the Democratic nomination will either face Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz. The Republicans and the Democrats will announce their presidential candidates in July.
