Remembering the Departed: Former Chornobyl zone residents return home

Chornobyl exclusion zone was briefly full of life over the weekend. Dozens of people returned to the place they once called home. The come-back happens every year after Easter which marks the days of commemoration of the departed in the Eastern-Rite Christian calendar. Families that left 30 years ago returned to abandoned buildings to pay respects to their passed relatives.
